About Friends Meeting House

Brighton Friends’ Meeting House, set in a lovely garden, stands in the very centre of Brighton, two minutes from the sea. Built in 1805, the Meeting House is the place of worship for the city’s Quakers and a grade two star listed building. Easily accessible by public transport and near car parking it provides an ideal venue in the heart of the city.

The building is frequently used for:

  • training events and workshops
  • small meetings and committees
  • clubs

We have 6 rooms available for hire. All rooms have wireless internet access. The largest room has one of the best grand pianos in Brighton. Catering facilities are available and creches can be organised.
